Meet us- Lee and Lucy( husband and wife team ) AKA Oneirophotography, currently enjoying our coastal life in Myrtlebeach, South Carolina. Our business still operates on both places : South Carolina and DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia).
Our romance with photography began seven years ago. We've travelled a lot around Europe especially Greece, where our eyes lied on and the family bonded strongly. Eversince we've picked up a camera, we've been obsessed with capturing the world, people and relationship thru detail and play of light. Human connections is fascinating and multifaceted, but the deepest emotions aren't not always easy to witness. That's why it is important that we get to know each other far before the big day comes. We are all artists behind "Oneirophotography". We are three different individuals with all unique characteristics. Despite of all, we LOVES our job as photographers / cinematographer. We see ARTS in every images we've created & believe in our dream which live up our business' name (Oneiro= dream come true in Greek). AND for ONE reason, we commit ourselves to make your DREAM come true as well. Let's enlivening your vision to become reality! We surely could deliver!
Our Story
Lee, raised in Greek family, his background in arts, majoring television production & photography. He is the founder of Oneirophotography, the lead photographer and a man with one word, very focus when we works on creating cinematic photography arts skills behind the camera. He loves history, SCI-FI and anything beyond imagination.He DREAMED to see the world. "I knew this was how I could see the world." He has seen beautiful places when he served the country (Army& Navy). He sailed the Caribbean & the Mediterranean Sea, seen the magical crystal blue waters"Every travel has an unique experience, every city I visited has an interesting corner to photograph, objects even friendly faces to be captured with my camera. All photos speak a million words. All photos brings memories to keep forever in your heart." He and the wife has completed and member of the Wedding master photography followed by all TOP wedding photographers in United States . He is an entrepreneur, focusing on destination wedding/ luxury and portrait.
Lucy's background is finance and marketing, but she wears lot of different hats including : Social media, double shooter & photo editor. Seven years ago, she started to pick up the camera which she had an interest in for a long time and big thanks for hubby who is her mentor of taking the best photos and the confidence she has now. "The more I learn about the the technique of photography, the more I am falling in love with it!". Her DREAM came true, she found her true passion turn into job she loves. It does sound Cliché, but it is happening to anybody who believe in their DREAM and be patience.
As a wedding photographer for fun loving, down to earth couple who values time well spent. She has learned that her favorite part of her job is not only just the photography part, but the relationship with her clients, the story behind clients love story, the happy ending stories.
With her camera, she could see and capture the beautiful angle of every objects or places every corner she goes. When clients asked her : "what kind of photography equipment you use?"
She tell them, "her eyes."
Sonu's background is photography and cinematography. He is our double shooter and cinematographer. He blends shooting creativity with storytelling into art. He starts out at the beginning of each wedding with a blank canvas and fill that blank canvas with all sorts of moments. When we shoot cinematically, we capture a moment (the bride and the groom smiling at each other, a guest wiping her tears, etc.) and then move around to get other interesting/creative angles. He is moving around to capture those different angles and perspectives, he is not shooting still photos the entire time but using the technique allows us to get those interesting shots that make your wedding film unique and interesting to watch. We use a digital file-based DSLR camera with interchangeable lenses that can get some amazing depth of field shots. When it comes time to edit your wedding film, all those moments we captured are then interwoven with meaningful soundbites into a seamless storyline of your day. This will create a visual masterpiece of moving imagery. He studies cinematography at Wilmington University, he enjoys to put his work and thoughts of cheerful, happy clients, make their wedding day or an engagement dream come true manifest through his lens. He is a free spirit, who also loves to draw the art sketches, loves to take portrait for commercial as well as weddings.
